    In-home personal instruction of yoga, pilates, or a combination of yoga and pilates allows you to enjoy the mind and body benefits of a structured class in the comfort of your own home. With a personal instructor, your yoga, pilates, or combo classes will be enjoyed free from common gym hassles such as crowded studios, ambiguity of instructors and styles, or sparse class schedules. You will receive one-on-one instruction and spotting and personalized classes designed to fit your specific needs and desires - in your home, around your schedule.

    The practice of yoga provides individuals with a beneficial way to improve their health, performance, and mental acuity. Erin's classes blend balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format doable by individuals at any level of fitness. The practice of pilates promotes development of a strong core and a toned body, building strength without excess bulk. In her pilates classes, Erin teaches body awareness, good posture and graceful movement.

    Even if you are new to yoga or pilates, working with Erin is a great option. You will be led through detailed beginner classes that include explanations of correct breathing techniques, aligned poses, and proper form. Unlike intimidating large studio classes, the in-home setting is comfortable and you are welcome to ask questions throughout the class.

    If space in your home allows, enjoy your classes with your spouse, child over the age of 13, or friends!

    Classes generally last one hour, however, shorter or longer classes can be arranged, at an altered price.

    Training Approach

    We use the simplest of equipment to get the "state of the art" performance results. Our emphasis is functional training which means the body you want will not only look and feel great, it will out-perform (in both present day and long-term use) any "fitness machine built physique." Functional training builds the muscle movement strength you use everyday for survival and for play. We place a greater emphasis on balance, agility and the mind and body connection through the breath and movement whether you are performing a yoga posture, push-ups or balancing on one foot. The training you do for one hour will translate to the rest of your life and greatly enhance your everyday activities for years to come.

    The yoga style is based on a hybrid of traditional hatha yoga and kundalini yoga. This combination brings the best of precision postures, revitalizing movement and abundant energy flow. Once again, the session is tailored to your present condition and where you want to be both inside and out.

    We concentrate on what you need and what your goals demand: strength training, core conditioning, flexibility, balance, mental focus, weight management, lifestyle changes, motivation...whatever it takes to get there.
